Workshops and Post-Show Discussions

In addition to our touring productions, Little Bulb Theatre can also provide workshops and post-show discussions to suit specific requirements. Springing from a variety of backgrounds, our members have an array of skills and approaches to creating theatre which influence the way we work as a company and which we delight in sharing with others.  We produce high energy, intensive sessions which inspire the creation of devised material and offer a unique insight to the way we produce material as a company. 

Our workshops work effectively as an activity for schools and University groups, and range from 2-3 hours to full day sessions.  These can either precede a performance or be run independently for specific events. 

Central to Little Bulb’s process in devising theatre is the creation of a unique world for performance, with its own aesthetic and logic. Within this we introduce objects and characters, discovering what works theatrically. Little Bulb work practically with participants to develop their own created worlds and approaches to devising material therein.
